VirtualXposed is a modified version of Xposed Framework that allows you to use this system modification even if you don't have root permissions on your Android device. In exchange for not needing to root, its features are more limited than those offered by the full version.
Xposed modules run separately
With Xposed, it's possible to modify the appearance and functionality of your Android. Because VirtualXposed doesn't have root permissions, it can't access the system, so it's not possible to make system modifications. Instead, VirtualXposed creates virtual spaces in which it's possible to run APK files as if they were plugins. All running apps are located inside a container. VirtualXposed is in charge of making system calls. Thanks to this, you can run modules and enjoy additional functionalities without having to root the device.
You can't modify the system, but you can do many other things
As a result, modules that modify system settings such as GravityBox do not work. However, there are many others that do work, such as XPrivacyLua, XInsta, YouTube Adway, MDWechat, WeXposed, QXposed, and many others.
To work properly, VirtualXposed requires virtually all permissions that can be granted to an Android app without superuser permissions.
If you want to use Xposed without needing to root, downloading VirtualXposed's APK is the best way to do so.
